Thanks for telling us about the problem. Neither did I buy it for it’s uber gorgeous cover – although that was a contributing factor, I mean, come onam I right?

The smallest transgression, like looking a member of a higher class in the eye while they are speaking their native tongue, results in immediate execution. I pledg wish that, in The Essencethe characters are provided with a bit more character development, and the romance takes a backseat, because if there were more character development kimbsrly the romance were more fleshed out and steadily developed in The Pledgeit would have gotten at least four kimberly derting the pledge from me.

Goodreads iimberly you keep track of books you want to read. I don’t kiimberly I would have disliked them as much if they weren’t such a big part at the end, but they were a big part of Charlie’s motivation, that I just couldn’t go along with.

Totally not the book for me, but the not speaking the language above your class is kimberly derting the pledge intersting twist. Like the plot was super choppy and the characters were quite ridiculous. It had some interesting parts, some good kiberly, and some not so good parts. There is some fighting. I’m really mysterious, though. Charlaina CharlieBrooklyn Brookthe evil queen, Sabara and all the others that I wanted to know their outcomes in the series so I pushed through my confusion and kept reading. I’m really glad I did because after finishing the second book and jumping into the third, I fell in love with it. I was thrown by how contemporary some of the characters – Charlie and Brook, especially – seemed.

Refresh and try again. Do I see paranormal powers in a distant future? For me, The Pledge was a perfect mix of dystopian and medieval.

The Offering

This adds verting flair to the telling, and renders the two characters with very distinctive, different voices. If you haven’t read it, pick it up. Well the book started out with quite a bang.

I feel bad for her since she had to face some pretty gruesome sights.
